1. Reply with your name and I will write something random about you.
2. I will then tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
3. I will pick a flavor of jello to wrestle with you.
4. I will say something that only makes sense to you and me.
5. I will give you a nickname.
6. I will tell you what animal you remind me of.
7. I'll then ask you something that I've always wondered about you.
8. Put this in your journal (this step is, of course, absolutely optional)

I am having trouble parsing the jell-o (tm) part. Are you offering to help me wrestle with the jell-o? Conditional on what flavor happens to be wrestling with me?

I mean, I think I can take the Jell-o. Oh, wait, it's wearing a strongbad mask... i'm hosed.

1. My Dad has a nickname for you, and I think you are the only non-SO person in my sister's life to have that distinction.
2. Star Wars and its main theme
3. Orange (I originally assumed this referred to what flavor to would use if we were to wrestle in a vat of jello. However, you have enlightened me as to the other entertaining possibilities)
4. I really miss the rusty building.
5. Last Dave Standing (because I've known a lot of guys named Dave, but you're the one who's been around the longest)
6. a young lion
7. Do you think you'll ever go back to doing music (or something music-related) in some professional capacity?

Well as for number 7 I lack what might be called a "plan" or at least a "serious plan" however I am absolutely unprepared to write off the possibitlity. It is more of a vague and unformed "ambition" than anything else i guess.

2. Snippets of various Billy Bragg songs whose names I don't remember.
3. Strawberry
4. I can't think of anything I could say that would fit the bill, but I could hum a tune from the Warsaw Village Band's CD and you would be one of the very few people I know who would recognize it.
5. (I'll have to pass on this one)
6. A heron
7. So how did you come across my journal, and why did you decide to friend me?

7. I looked for other people who liked Warsaw Village Band and you were the only one who seemed to be interesting in other ways too. And now I like you and your posts.

I wouldn't list getting married as a goal. But its not something I'm opposed to. There are certain legal benefits that make it seem reasonable with the right partner.

1. You did the best job I have ever seen of playing a cranky teenager at Quest. I think at one point at Marilyna I had to restrain myself from throttling you.

4. Neely Bruce: enfant terrible or just plain terrible?

7. Do you see your job as a career path or more as a day-job type of thing that supports you so you can pursue other things?

1. After Other Kenjari and I watched the first episode of Firefly (from the DVDs), we turned to each other and declared that Kaylee=Becky.
2. "I'm a Little Dinosaur" by Jonathan Richman.

*giggle* Let us crack the plot, indeed :) And yeah, Kaylee's a lot like me. Have you got to the episode with the pink dress yet?

And as for the answer to #7 - a little of both. It was very strange to return to NH as a 'grownup' instead of a student, and I've tried hard not to be too closely tied to undergrad activities, because I don't want to be a 30-year-old undergrad :) But at the same time, New Haven still feels very much like home, as it did for most of the time I was living in NY, so it also felt very comfortable to come back.

Yep, we're almost done with the Firefly DVDs. The pink dress episode was great. So far, some of my favorite episodes are the ones that never aired.
