Not exactly the best year for my head, is it?

It seems to be my year for random health crap involving my head. I've got a case of shingles, with the rash and thus the pain on the right side of my head. It's like being jabbed with very large needles almost constantly. Ouch. I went to the doctor and got some medication (largest pills ever), so it should clear up within a week or so.

Having had shingles in the past, you have my sympathies. At least I didn't have them on my face (and thus near my eyes).

What did the doc give you?

An anti-viral called Valtrex. They are seriously the biggest pilss I have ever seen in my life.
Luckily, the shingles are not affecting my optic nerves, so I don't have to worry about problems with my sight.

Yeah, shingles severity seems to vary widely. In the head / eyes is the suck! I hope you get better soon...
