This next book in the Wayward Children series brings the story of sisters Jack and Jill to its terrible and tragic conclusion. Come Tumbling Down shows us more of Jack and Jill's otherworld, the Moors, and reveals more about how things work there. It's a world of classic and eldritch gothic horrors, but also one of balance and rules. I would not want to live there, but I find it extremely fascinating. I also very much appreciate Jack - she's a pragmatic, somewhat self-interested mad scientist who manages to preserve a moral compass in spite of everything.
