The Dante's Inferno Test has sent you to the First Level of Hell - Limbo!
Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
LevelScore
Purgatory (Repenting Believers)Very Low
Level 1 - Limbo (Virtuous Non-Believers)High
Level 2 (Lustful)High
Level 3 (Gluttonous)Low
Level 4 (Prodigal and Avaricious)Very Low
Level 5 (Wrathful and Gloomy)Low
Level 6 - The City of Dis (Heretics)Moderate
Level 7 (Violent)High
Level 8- the Malebolge (Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers)Moderate
Level 9 - Cocytus (Treacherous)Low

Take the Dante's Divine Comedy Inferno Test

I thought I'd end up with either the lusty people or the heretics.

Virtuous Non-Believer, as always. Oh well - at least I get to hang out with all the classical poets in the pretty park :)

(Although I did score Moderate on Fraudulent, which I didn't think was fair - of course I've pretended to be someone I'm not! I do theater and roleplaying! :)

Yeah, I didn't think my moderate score on Fraudulent was fair either. Yes, I can tell lies pretty well, but that doesn't mean I make a habit of it.

I think the distinction in the test is the "trick someone into believeing you are someone you are not". Which I would say doens't count for roleplaying or theater because it's not a trick, everyone involved assumes you are acting.

Yeah, I ended up split between being lustful and non-believer. Very High on both. Go me.

I took this test long ago, and ended up in the 7th level, even though I'm not particularly violent (in my own eyes at least). I consider myself more lusty, and definitely a non-believer.

But you have to remember that the levels reflect the views on sin of Dante, not today. So some tings that I would consider more of a symptom of lust could be interpreted differently. Also, some of the moral questions may have some unstated assumptions built in. For instance, I responded true to the statement "some people just deserve to die", because I think that there are people who's behavior is so bad that it would be better if they were simply not here anymore. But, that doesn't mean I think it is up to human individual institutions or individuals to do the removing.
