Classical Music's Strangest Concerts: Extraordinary But True Stories From Over Five Centuries of Harmony and Discord
by Brian Levison

This book consists of a large bunch of anecdotes about strange occurrences at classical music concerts and the unusual musicians and composers involved with the performances. The stories are told in a chatty way, making this very light reading. There is no analysis or attempt to discuss any larger issues regarding performance practice or the conventions of concerts and concertizing. It's clear the book was not written by or for serious musicians. It's all very amusing but also quite superficial. This would make a good bathroom or waiting room book.
