epilimnion, and I went to see "The Incredibles" last night, after first having a yummy dinner at Jacob Wirth. The movie was wonderful - I think it's the most fun I've had at the movies this year. Pixar has done it again. I also loved the soundtrack - perfectly done 1960s-spy-movie-orchestral-jazz. I hope Michael Giacchino does more films - up until now, he's written mostly for video games.
Tomorrow I head out to Eugene, Oregon, to visit the University of Oregon. I'll be there for three days. I hope it goes well. I've had a little trouble getting responses about scheduling from the professors. I hope that's not a bad sign. It is the middle of the semester there, so it may just be that they are very busy. And I'm there for long enough that there's plenty of time for on-the-spot scheduling.
