Here comes the sun

It has finally become sunny and summer-like here in Boston. Just in time, too, because two-weeks of near constant rain and clouds was really starting to get to me. It was the worst stretch of dismal weather I can remember having in a long time (24 out of 30 days this June were rainy or cloudy), and it began having a pronounced effect on my mood. By mid-week I had achieved an uncomfortable combination of grumpy and depressed, with a bit of resentful thrown in. Now that the sun is out and the temperatures are aligned with the calendar, I feel so much better. I hope it stays this way for a good long while.
I made some pasta salad in celebration and I've spent plenty of time walking around the reservoir and reading on the porch.
