Crappy things

How did I get so damn busy? There always seems to be a million things to do: household chores, performances to attend, getting enough exercise and sleep, keeping up with various forms of communication, composing, practicing. It's really hard to maintain any kind of good routine or consistent working habits when there's so damn much going on. I'm feeling kind of overwhelmed. But the hard thing is that most of this is stuff that I like doing and really want to be doing.
My elbow tendonitis is better, but there seems to be certain point beyond which it just won't heal. It's been just about 5 months since it showed up. The acupuncture, icing, heating, and Alexander Technique sessions have all done me plenty of good, but I can't seem to get my arm all the way better with these methods. I'm going to the doctor in a couple weeks, and I hope I get some good advice or referrals or something.
I still like my job and the people in the dance division, but work is reaching epic levels of stress lately. The semester is ending, we're packing up moving our offices and such because the building will be undergoing a major renovation and expansion, and we're dealing with admitting and enrolling the incoming freshman class. And we're doing this all at the same time. Plus, there's the summer program to start figuring out.
And today we were informed that our rent is going up starting in August. We can still afford the place and all that, but it's not what I needed today.
And shit, the Red Sox just got stomped on by Tampa Bay.
