Other Kenjari and I watched Trainspotting on Friday night. I had seen it years ago, but he had never seen it. I think that there's some similarity between this film and Slumdog Millionaire despite the 13 years that separate the two films. Both have an ensemble cast, focus on the underbelly of a city, and have an episodic narrative structure. And both are really, really good.
