I've got a completely new regimen of antibiotics (very powerful stuff this time). I am really quite sick and in a lot of pain. This sucks and it's actually rather upsetting. I'm not going anywhere for several days, and it is very difficult for me to talk on the phone - my ear canals are very swollen and painful. At least I've got a house full fo books and a loving husband.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention two things: To add insult to injury, I got my period today. And I can't take any NSAIDs for the ear pain because they interfere or react with the antibiotics.

That really sucks :( I'm sorry. I hope you feel much better really soon. It's been a while since I've had an ear infection, but hooooooboy do I remember the pain.

That completely sucks, and I hope the antibiotics do the trick. The combination of illness and period sounds excruciating. Books and time with the loving husband sound like great therapy for both.

So far the dicloxicillin seem to be working. I've still got a ways to go, but I'm already seeing some improvement, especially in the hideous pain department.
