I am well and truly sick. I have a very, very painful ear infection and a low-grade fever. I haven't felt this bad in years. I've been taking antibiotics for two days now, and all they've done is given me diarrhea. So I'm going to the doctor tomorrow. Things I had planned for later this week will probably not happen.

Try the Antibiotic Zithromax? All antibiotics pretty much destroy my tummy, but that one killed my Horrible ear infection, and it didn't bother my tummy.

Oh not a victem of the plauge. Zithromax is good. For many pple acidophilus/ yougurt with active cultures is good at puting the good microbes back in the gut.

You know your gut well enough to have an idea if this would be actually helpful to you.

Hope you get better soon enough not to have to break many plans.

Thanks! I take a acidophilus supplement regularly for the IBS - I've doubled my dosage for the duration of the antibiotic treatment. I seem to be doing better in the gut department today. I hope my doctor can do something about the unresponsive infection.
