Arizona rejected me, too. It was the nicest rejection letter I've ever received, but it still means yet another year without grad school.

I'm so bummed to hear that! You are brilliant, and I'm sorry that the stars have not aligned themselves for you in an academic sense in the way that they should.

The silver linings: we get to keep you for a year longer (a selfish huzzah), you and I get to continue to make beautiful music together, and you now get to pursue all those awesome local composition projects and contacts that you had been eyeing.
