Hot Fuzz

Other Kenjari and I went to a late show of Hot Fuzz last night. It's from the same team as Shaun of the Dead and is very much in the same vein, but this time they tackle two-cop crime action movies in the unlikely setting of a small, quaint British village. The result is extremely entertaining and often hilarious. I think I may have enjoyed it even more than Shaun of the Dead for two reasons: I've seen more crime and action movies than zombie movies, and I have been in places exactly like that on my trip to Wales.

Cool. I saw the previews, and they made it look a little over the top when it comes to the silliness. But if it's a pretty good movie, then I might have to drag *H* out to see this. :-)

It is a bit over the top at times, but in in the best of all possible ways.
