Our First Tree

Other Kenjari and I got our first ever Christmas tree today. We bought a very small potted mediterranean cypress from Whole Foods, and put it on the bookshelf in our living room. It didn't make much sense to get anything larger because we'll be at my parents' place from the 23rd to the 27th. Besides, our apartment isn't big enough for anything larger than a table-top sized tree anyway.
We decorated the tree with the set of Dr. Seuss Green Eggs and Ham ornaments that davidsmom1 gave us ages ago, and some tinsel made out of cut-up tin foil. I rounded out the decorations with a couple of orphan earrings. The tree came with a red ribbon and a cluster of plastic holly berries and pine cones, which makes a decent tree topper. It's very cute.
