Dinner took a little linger than anticipated, so Other Kenjari and I couldn't make it to any of the 8pm showings of the movies we're interested in seeing. So we rented Good Night and Good Luck instead. It was really good. I especially liked the use of film noir style even though the subject matter is not film noir. The tight construction and understatedly fine performances suited the story very well. I was also impressed with the subtle commentary embedded in the film - change a few names and words and some of the key speeches are just as true and applicable for the present as they are for the past. And Edward R. Murrow was the Spider Jerusalem of his time.

Yes, great flick - I got to see it in the theaters. We need several big, loud Spiders right now.
