Spring makes everything better
Apr. 20th, 2004 10:07 pmI love the change from winter weather to spring and summer weather.
I love being able to dig my skirts out of the dresser drawers and wear them without having to worry about breaking out in unbearably itchy hives. I love not having to wear two layers all the time - it's amazing how much lighter and more freedom of movement I feel just by shedding the long underwear.
I love it when my skin allergy to the cold finally goes away. Yes, I am allergic to the cold.
I love having more daylight. Now when I come up above ground on the T, it's still as light out as when I left work.
I love it that the wind now feels good, because it's a warm gust rather than an icy blast.
Green grass, budding trees, and flowers are so much prettier than even new-fallen snow or icicles glinting in the cold sun.
I love being able to say "Why don't we just walk" instead of "Where the heck is the train/bus".
