2. Were you named after anyone? No. But my parents said they chose the name because all the Carols they had ever known were good looking, great people.

5. Do you like your handwriting? It's not too bad. I can actually produce some fairly attractive handwriting if I write slowly and carefully.

9. If you were another person, would YOU be friends with you? Maybe. I'm kind of reserved and have never been the type of person people flock to.

16. What was your favorite toy as a child? There was this cool Fisher Price treehouse thing my sister and I had when we were very young. We played with it so much it broke. My dollhouse was more of a constant, though. My grandparents built it for me when I was three, then refurbished it when I was 12.

68. What kind of car do your drive? I don't own a car, but if all goes well and I get into grad school, we will be buying a Toyota Matrix.

69. Favorite sandwich? Leftover corned beef with a variety of fixings. Leftover meatloaf with barbecue sauce is also really good.

70. What characteristics do you despise? I'll have to go with hca and say the combination of ignorance and arrogance. Callousness towards others also irks me.

71. Favorite item of clothing? My wedding dress was terrific. But as far as things I wear regularly go, my black velour shirt is pretty great.

72. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation where would you go? All over the British Isles, or Italy, or the middle east.

74. How many keys on your key chain? I think about 7 ot 8, but most of them are for places I no longer live.

75. What did you do yesterday? Went to work, played piano, read.

76. Best gift you ever received? My piano, which my parents bought for me after I asked for one every day for a whole year. It will be twenty years old in 2007, and I plan on throwing it a party. The katana-wakizashi-tanto set Other Kenjari got me for our engagement and wedding is an extremely close second.
