Earthquakes, Tsunamis, and Disaster

The enormity of the natural disaster in Southeast Asia utterly boggles my mind. I just don't know what to say about it. Over fifty thousand dead, unfathomable amounts of damage. The earthquake even disturbed the earth's rotation. Several islands have shifted position, and a few may have even vanished. And a full accounting hasn't even been reached yet.
I've posted this in several comments, but I'll put it here, too, for anyone who might need or want it. The American Institute for Philanthropy has posted a list of highly rated organizations that are doing relief work in SE Asia, so that those who wish to can make donations. I will be making donations to Mercy Corps and OxFam America. Even if it feels like I can't do much, doing something, no matter how small, has got to be better than doing nothing.
