Managing Institutional Recordings
edited by Beth Thompson and Liza Weisbrod

I read this book for work, since we are currently grappling with how to handle institutional concert recordings. Managing Institutional Recordings consists of twelve chapters by different authors covering a wide variety of projects and issues around institutional recordings, from a survey of the current state of institutional recordings to a brief examination of the relevant copyright issues. While some chapters were more relevant to my specific workplace and its situation, I found all the chapters to be informative and useful.

A Prince on Paper
by Alyssa Cole

In this romance, Nya, cousin to the princess of Thesolo, and Johan, step-son to the king of Liechtenbourg, end up both very attracted to each other and engaged in a fake dating scheme. As their feelings for each other grow, their fake relationship becomes ever more real. However, they both have large emotional hurdles to overcome. Nya is recovering from years of gaslighting and mistreatment at the hands of an emotionally abusive father and Johan is still struggling with the fallout of his mother's early sudden death.
I liked both Nya and Johan a lot. They both struggled with their emotional issues, but did a good job of actually talking to each other and working things out. It was all very real and very lovely. I could have wished that things had resolved just a little quicker, but even when it seemed like things were dragging out, I never stopped rooting for them both individually and together.
