This short study about fifteenth century English composer John Dunstaple (or sometime Dunstable) had a lot of good information in it that shed light on a composer about whom little is known. However, I felt like it could have been organized better. Dent divides her discussion into chapters based on the type of composition (motets, mass movements, etc.) but I felt like she really wanted to center the book around aspects or features of Dunstaple's style.
