This short novel was a quick, enjoyable read - ghost stories are my preferred form of horror, so this really worked for me. It follows three college students, Tara, Steven, and Paul, as they conduct a ghost-hunting operation on an empty house in Connecticut. Things turn out to be a little more complicated. It was a satisfying story with a really good conclusion and wrap-up. The characters were worth spending time with, and it was refreshing to see a group of protagonists maintain a good relationship throughout a narrative. My only criticism would be that I thought the book could have benefited from being longer - I wanted to spend more time with these characters and learn more about them, and I would have enjoyed more build-up and suspense int eh ghost story.
