Mar. 17th, 2009 10:37 pmI had a terrific three-day weekend - it's spring break at work, so I took Monday off. I didn't get tons accomplished, but I did catch up on sleep, cook some good food, and relax quite a bit. On Saturday, I went over to
hca's house for a very delicious dinner provided by her husband R and board games with them, J & M, and L and her husband R. I had not seen L in years - since my years in Middletown, although we had recently gotten back in touch via Facebook. It was great to see her again.
The cherry trees in the park across the way should start blooming in the next month or so. I'm thinking of hosting some sort of cherry blossom viewing party/gathering/tea, etc. It will have to at least start during the daylight hours so that we can hang out on the porch and maybe even take a brief circuit around the park (it's quite small) to see the blossoms. Hmmmm.
I seem to have become ridiculously busy this year. In a good way, but it's a little stressful. I thought things would taper off once I got through February, but that hasn't quite happened. I think I'm going to have to try to cut down slightly on my concert-going, hopefully limiting myself to no more than two per week.
