(no subject)

I had a very productive and enjoyable weekend, despite having to miss out on a party.
I had a good piano practice session on Saturday and also got in a little composing. On Sunday, pantsie came over for singing and we had a great time. Despite not havign practiced together for the past couple of weeks, we rocked. I'm getting even more excited about the recital we're planning. The songs I am writing for her are coming along quite well, too. I'm writing quickly and I'm happy with what I'm producing.
I got to spend some time sorting and organizing all the music-related papers, notes, etc. I accumulated in grad school and after. A few weeks ago, Other Kenjari and I did a little furniture rearranging and purging. I now have a large file cabinet for all my music stuff, and I am getting into the longer process of collecting and filing all the materials that have been tucked into various places around our apartment. It will be so much nicer to have all thaqt stuff in one place and organized (at least loosely).
I also got in plenty of yoga, and cooked lots of delicious food. I'm especially pleased that my meatloaf recipe works just as well with ground turkey as it does with beef.
