Christmas

Other Kenjari and I went down to my parents' place for Christmas, as usual. It was particularly nice this year. My Dad is doing very well. My brother was completely calm and stable. My Mom was relaxed and happy. And epilimnion and her guy D. were good company. There was the usual abundance of delicious food, too, of which I ate far too much. Many good gifts were given adn received.
I feel quite refreshed and relaxed after the holiday. It's a nice change from the extremely stressful times my family has been having since the summer.
Other Kenjari are doing something a little different this year for New Years. We typically opt for a simple, quiet evening at home with movies. This year, we decied to go out for a fancy dinner at the Fireplace in Brookline. Then maybe Brokeback Mountain at the Coolidge Corner theater (depending on the timing - we don't want to rush a meal at such a good restaurant).
