Nice weekend
Mar. 27th, 2005 10:19 pmI had a very pleasant weekend, marred only by a rejection letter from the University of Illinois. But I was expecting them to reject me, so it's not that bad. Now it's down to Oregon, and I should be hearing any day now.
Speaking of Oregon, I am also applying to the Oregon Bach Festival, which is in Eugene at the end of June. The festival includes new music concerts and composers symposiums as well as Bach. I'm applying for me and my music to be a part of the concerts and workshops.

epilimnion's place. It was a good evening, even though Other Kenjari had to go home after dinner because he felt under the weather. I stuck around for tea, cookies, and a movie with epilimnion. We watched The Big Lebowski - I'd never seen it. It's a great movie. The script is terrific and the actor's performances are stellar. It's a beautifully quirky movie, both funny and fascinating.
