ladybird97, and I saw Pirates of the Caribbean 2. It was pretty good, although not quite as good as the first. The music geek in me was particularly gratified by the two brief quotes from Wagner's The Flying Dutchman that Zimmer included in the score. And I just love Johnny Depp. And Bill Nighy. And swordfighting. We finally get to see Keira Knightley kick ass, too.
The best part of the evening though, wasn't the movie. We all went in full pirate gear. And when we entered the theater, the audience applauded us. A pirate's life for us, indeed!
